This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. The waitress we had was super friendly and attentive. Tuna tower is their specialty and is the main reason why we keep coming back. Their lunch specials are also very affordable and great quality.

The restaurant is lovely in decoration. The staff was very polite. Yet the food was not good at all, unfortunately. I ordered the Hibachi chicken and shrimp. Very dry chicken, something like chicken. Actually I don't really like leaving bad reviews. I have never left one but the truth is the truth. The vegetables tasted old and canned. Chicken didn't taste like chicken. Unfresh shrimp. The people were nice and I left a very nice tip. When she asked be if I wanted white rice or fried rice I didn't know that fried rice will be $4 extra. I'm not sure if that's normal or not. Either way if a meal is good I don't mind whatever the price is but with my tip it was 50$ To be honest I was upset with myself for spending so much money on such low quality food. Live and learn. To her credit, the waitress was very nice and the restaurant made you feel as though you were in Japan. The food on the other hand seemed like a frozen meal gone wrong. I did go at 9 and they close at 930. Maybe that was the reason. So, if you go, go early. Or maybe choose something easier the hibachi chicken and shrimp. Have an awesome rest of your day reader๐

I walked into Yuri Sushi expecting a modest, likely Chinese owned take on a Japanese sushi spot. At first glance, the menu, complete with Japanese kanji and kana, gave me a flicker of hope that this might lean closer to authenticity than anticipated. That illusion lasted right up until my friend overheard the staff speaking Chinese, at which point my quiet Omakase aspirations pivoted into those of โFumakaseโ. To be clear, thereโs nothing inherently wrong with fusion or cross cultural kitchens. But presenting one thing while delivering another does give off a certain โChi Forest faux Japanese drinkโ energy, familiar to anyone whoโs encountered Japanese branding wrapped around a distinctly non-Japanese (Chinese) core. That said, credit where itโs due: the fish was fresh. The rice, while serviceable, skewed a bit stiff and under seasoned, lacking the balance that elevates good sushi to great. Still, the fundamentals were there, earning a respectable 3.5/5. I ordered the โSushi Pro,โ an 8 piece nigiri assortment featuring the usual suspects, tuna, yellowtail, salmon, and the delicious yet roll-the-dice escolar, sometimes euphemistically labeled โwhite tuna.โ The selection was decent

The shrimp tempura was amazing!! Probably the best Iโve had. It was fresh, crispy, and delicious. The dinner plate came with rice and a salad with ginger dressing. My bill with water was $24 before tip, so itโs a bit pricey, but the meal was amazing. Iโll definitely be returning to try other dishes.
